Charming Outdoor Plymouth Wedding: Katelin & Chris

On a cold, windy night last winter, Ryan and I bundled up Michael and headed out to meet Katelin & Chris to talk about wedding photography. We got delayed due to multiple cars slipping and blocking the back roads.

We finally got to the coffee shop and had a lovely chat with Katelin & Chris. We had Michael in tow, but they didn’t mind at all. As we were talking together, it was obvious that they were already so prepared, even though their wedding wasn’t planned until this September.

Throughout this year, Katelin & Chris have been so patient and calm. There was no panic, even as their wedding day grew closer and the current state of the world remained largely the same.

The day of their wedding was sunny, with a soft breeze. Their venue, a family friend’s farm, was perfect for their needs, complete with a space for an outdoor ceremony, an open barn and ample space.

Bright florals perfectly complemented the dark blue of Chris’s suit and Katelin’s elegantly detailed dress was breathtaking.

The day ended with donuts, cider, dancing, and portraits with horses.

Katelin & Chris,

Thank you for letting us be a small part of your wedding day. It has been so amazing to get to know you both and we are so excited to see what life holds for you two as you start your married life together! You have shown such incredible patience, determination, and focus throughout this chaotic year. You two handled it amazingly.

We are looking forward to staying friends with you and seeing you again!

Much love,
