Sarah and Nate were married on a rainy, but beautiful October day. They met in college and celebrated their marriage alongside family and friends. Their reception tables featured beautiful and simple decorations of burlap table runners, fall leaves, candles, and little wooden boxes. Unfortunately, the weather had a mind of it’s own and we had steady background noise of rain throughout the ceremony.
When we met Sarah and Nate, I knew we would have a blast on their wedding day. They were sweet, quirky, and unapologetically themselves. Nate has a great love for superheros, so he and his groomsmen wore superhero t-shirts under their wedding attire.
Sarah confided in me that she was planning a surprise for Nate on their wedding day. After we finished with family formals, we moved onto bride and groom portraits. We had Nate face away from Sarah as she put on a big felt dinosaur mask. Then, we cued him to turn around and as you can probably imagine, he loved it! His bride even had a dinosaur mask for him as well!
