Magdelene and Samuel Franklin were married on September 2nd, 2018 and I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding. I grew up with Sam’s family and his younger sister Rosemary is actually my best friend! It was exciting to work with his family for the wedding. Maggee and Sam started dating in 2014 and it didn’t take long for them to realize that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other. It was a warm September day in the Ann Arbor area. Maggee’s father Mark presided over the wedding ceremony and many of Sam’s family members were involved in the ceremony. Sam’s Jewish culture and faith were integrated throughout the ceremony and wedding day. Their wedding day was full of joy, laughter, and dancing.
They had a monopoly themed wedding that referenced their love for board games. It was a wonderful reflection of the couple’s personalities and their interests! So unique and beautiful! Magdelene herself is not a fan of the color pink, but she wore an adorable pair of bright pink ballet flats on her wedding day to surprise Sam, who loves pink himself.
